Interim President Everett B. Ward, Ph.D. along with administrators, faculty, staff joined students as they walked to the polls to cast their vote in the midterm election on November 4. The Saint Augustine’s University Chapter of the NAACP and the Student Government Association spearheaded the walk to the local polling site located at the Tarboro Road Community Center, 121 N. Tarboro Street, Raleigh.

Saint Augustine’s University students have always been active participants in the political process and this walk to the poll was just one way to demonstrate their civic responsibility.
