SAU Welcomes Interested Students
Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) extended its Falcon hospitality for its annual Fall Open House on Saturday, November 8. Parents and prospective students traveled to the university to learn about the various academic programs as well as meet faculty, staff, administrators and current students. Interested students came from as far as California and many traveled from Maryland, Virginia and across the state of North Carolina.
The open house began with the Superior Sound Marching Band moving everyone to the Falcon beat in the Seby Jones Auditorium. Interim President Everett Ward, Ph.D. welcomed the prospective students and their parents to the campus. The attendees also heard a beautiful performance by the SAU Gospel Choir and saw a high-stepping performance by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Some of SAU’s scholars shared with the attendees how SAU has helped and guided them to succeed in their endeavors.
