Outside hitter/middle blocker Danyelle Noland (Fr./Nashville, NC) and Head Coach Nikki Bynum Bumpass of Saint Augustine’s University were honored by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Noland was named CIAA Volleyball Rookie of the Week and Bumpass was selected CIAA Volleyball Coach of the Week.

Noland totaled 13 kills and nine digs to help the Lady Falcons upset Winston-Salem State University in five sets on October 20. The 13 kills were a career-high for Noland.

Bumpass guided the Lady Falcons to the stunning win over Winston-Salem State, which entered the contest tied for first in the Southern Division. The Lady Falcons have won five of their last eight matches.
