Guard Anthony Gaskins (So./Greenville, NC) was named to the All-CIAA Tournament Men’s Basketball Team after the championship game concluded at Time Warner Cable Arena on February 28.

Gaskins led the Falcons in scoring in two CIAA Tournament games. He scored 14 points in a victory over Elizabeth City State University and 17 points in a loss to Chowan University. The standout guard averaged 15.5 points in both games.

Gaskins finished the season as the team’s second-leading scorer and rebounder. He averaged 14.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals. He led the Falcons in assists and steals.

In the CIAA, Gaskins tied for ninth in scoring and assists. He ranked 10th in three-point field goal percentage (39.7) and sixth in steals (1.5 per game).
