Diplomat shared benefits of the Foreign Service
On November 10, Mr. Richard Jaworkski, diplomat in residence for the Southern Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S., visited with students discussing the benefits and the process to become a part of Foreign Service. He also spoke about paid and unpaid internships with the Department of State for the summer and during the semester.
“Mr. Jaworkski spoke of the importance of international relationships with countries like Russia and China and the need to be globally engaged at a young age,” said Mr. Russell Brodie, director for the Center for Global Engagement and Leadership.
According to Brodie, the Global Leadership Lecture Series will start again in January 2015.
